This is something that has been slightly discussed by the community in the past couple of months and is a bit sensitive, but we will proceed as its een found to be the best option there could be to fix all the staff issues.
All Staff will undergo a sort of review, however this will be a process that will involve all of our Game Staff.
Both, GMs, Saff and Trainees will be re-elected, for this there will be a public recruitment for GM positions and different branches.
All STaff will be let go in a certain way and if they're interested in being a part of the Staff still they can freely apply in the respective forum, although they will hold a higher priority in a review. This will help in two ways:
1.- We will be able to see who is still motivated on still being part of the Staff to help the server
2.- Review only Staff members who are still interested into keeping their spot.
The GM team will get their members picked from a public survey that will be held to find out who is actually interested into joining the GM team. We are looking for active people, with the knowledge and social skills to actually perform in their position as expected in order to improve the server.
For the GM position there will be several requirements that must be met in order to put your name in the list for us to consider, Staff will have a bit less drastic requirements but still good ones, such as good english, good attitude, good social relations, knowledge of the rules.
The Staff positions (Non GM) application will be to join the Trainee's academy, not a straight ticket to the branch, however if for some reason someone is found to be highly capable, they might go a speed up course (In cases such as previous activity on said branch or distinctive performance in other branches in the past)
To this Staff review, there will be one exception, S&O will not undergo this review at this time (They will undergo it in 2-3 months), since after a test period that has been granted to restructure it, we will decide weather a change has been noticed or if it should be split back into the RCS and Police branches, time in which the branch will be reviewed and its fate will be decided. Although GM recruitment might still be effective now for this branch.
Hopefully with this we will get our staff active and working again, with awesome members that will surely prove to be an asset to the server!
- Training Course for elected GMs (Deadline: September 2010)
- Review for Staff Trainees (Deadline: September 20th, 2010)
- Interview potential Staff Trainees
- Assign new GMs and Trainees
- Start the Training period for the Trainees and overlook the GMs performance on this matter.
- FInish the new GMs trial and promote them to official GMs
- Create Recruitment Forum
- Make Recruitment Topics
- Set the minium requirements to be able to apply.
- Review of the GM applicants

Not sure this will stop power abuse but it will surely bring back some whole new set of blood into the team which is always a great idea.
Totally Agree but keep on eye on those future Staffs :]

People applying for this should have some kind of "Show us your unique/creative idea/storyline:" Thing. And I guess those who are applying for other branches should also have some kind of "show us a sample of what you can exactly do."
i applied on the FORCE EVENT position and i would like to show you one of my upcoming events.
